چکیده
A typical Reinforced Concrete (RC) building frame comprising of RC columns and connecting beams that participates in resisting the earthquake forces. Due to earthquake, reversal tension generates at both faces a beam column; hence damage occur for disability carrying capacity concrete. Therefore, structural performance seismic load has been analyzed by nonlinear time history analysis method this study. residential located Dhaka, Bangladesh subjected various types gravity was considered analyze using ETABS software as per guideline BNBC (2020). According ATC 40 (1996), performances like maximum displacement story drift were evaluated element levels applying El Centro (1940) ground motion base structure. Formation plastic hinges is used basis evaluate local global performance. At first, designed only load, then according Further studies have performed on considering double height column level. It observed exceeds allowable limit all cases if applied

Seismic Damage Analysis of Reinforced Concrete Building Considering Member Fracture
The Adaptively Shifted Integration (ASI) technique, which produces the highest computational efficiency in the finite element analyses of framed structures including static and dynamic collapse problems, is applied to the seismic damage analysis of a reinforced concrete building. By expressing member fracture by a plastic hinge located at the exact position with a simultaneous release of result...
متن کاملSimulation of Nonlinear Seismic Response of Reinforced Concrete Structural Walls
In this study the performance of three macro-models in predicting the nonlinear response of different walls is investigated. The macro-models used are: Equivalent Beam Model, Multiple Vertical Line Element Model and a shear panel model developed by Massone et al. (2006). The walls are classified as slender, intermediate, and squat walls according to their shear-span ratio. First, three single w...
متن کاملThe Effect of Axial Force Variations on Nonlinear Modeling and Seismic Response of Reinforced Concrete Structures
In order to increase the accuracy of evaluating seismic response of structures, it is critical to conduct dynamic analyses based upon precise nonlinear models being as consistent as possible with the real conditions of corresponding structures. The concentrated plasticity model including one elastic element and two nonlinear spring elements at both ends has been considered within the research c...
متن کاملSeismic Performance Analysis of FRP Reinforced Concrete Frame Structure
Based on the experimental study for seismic performance of FRP reinforced concrete beam-column joints, two-storey two-span plane frames were taken for examples, in which the static elastoplastic analysis (the pushover method) was carried on the joints of the FRP strengthened concrete frames, and then the comparative analysis was made on seismic performance of RFP strengthened frame structure th...
متن کاملSeismic Response of Reinforced Concrete Columns
There are a large number of reinforced concrete buildings in seismically active areas of the world that are not built in accordance with modern seismic design provisions such as those published by American Concrete Institution ([ACI] Committee 318, 2008). In the United States and other parts of the developed world, these buildings were constructed between 1930s to mid 1970s according to the bui...
